CULTURAL TOUR

Our cultural tours are the easiest way to get a taste of Bhutan. With comfortable nights in hotels and luxuary buses or cars during the day, we will give you a tour of all the major towns. Each towns has a Dzong dating back from 1600s, and many old temples and monasteries, architectural marvels in their own rights. Where ever possible we can organize cultural shows for you to heighten your experience.

An added incentive world be to time your trip with one of our many religious

festivals. The best known are the Tshechus, festival

which honor Guru Rimpochey. The most popular of these take place annually in the great Dzongs (fortress).

Bhutan remained isolated from outside cultural influences for centuries. It has always maintained a strict policy on maintaining and preserving its culture and heritage. Only in mid 1970s foreign visitors were allowed to visit the country but it still maintains limited numbers of visitors. These helped Bhutan preserve many aspects of its culture that dates back to 17th century and before.
